Probability Density Function

A function that pairs the values of a variable with their associated probability densities.

Probability density functions have 3 features:

1) The x variable is continuous

2) The area under the curve is 1

3) The curve never goes below the x-axis.

E.G., the Normal distribution, the t-distribution, the F-distribution, etc.
